Left Bank Mini Markets - August 2026

The 19th edition of Mercadinhos da Margem Esquerda brings together local producers, science outreach activities, and proposals for families in an open-air fair setting. Throughout the day, the public will find stalls with seasonal fruit and vegetables, organic products, sourdough bread, honey, flowers, salt from Figueira da Foz, microgreens, artisanal ice cream, and other regional specialties.

The program includes cooking workshops led by Filipa Ramos, with the preparation of carob muffins and sessions designed for children and families. There are also solar cooking demonstrations with Celestino Ruivo, visual artists working live, and a set of scientific exploration moments linked to the market. Participation in the workshop is paid and takes place on the same day at the UC Exploratório reception, subject to available places.
