A Batalha Centro de Cinema and Cineclube do Porto are bringing back the Cineclub Matinees, in a fortnightly Sunday programme that revisits key moments in the history of the oldest Portuguese film club still in activity.
Until December, the film selection focuses on the theme of theatre in cinema, reviving a programme presented by Cineclube do Porto between 1953 and 1954. In December, the programme marks the Christmas season with two classics directed by Luis García Berlanga and Frank Capra.
