MARUJA

Maruja, an English band formed in 2014, arrive in Paredes de Coura with a high-energy concert and shifting structure, moving between atmospheric passages and sonic explosions. The group began as a duo of Harry Wilkinson and Matt Buonaccorsi, later joined by Joe Carroll and Jacob Hayes, and became known for its blend of post-punk, experimental jazz, noise and hip-hop.

Their career includes several EPs — *Maruja EP* (2016), *Explicit Trickery* (2017), *Compassion* (2019), *Knocknarea* (2023), *Connla’s Well* (2024) and *Tír na nÓg* (2025) — as well as the debut album *Pain to Power* (2025), where the band turns anguish and urgency into dense and sophisticated songs.
