Maria João, André Mehmari & Carlos Bica

Maria João, André Mehmari and Carlos Bica meet for the first time in a joint project, born from an invitation from Theatro Circo de Braga. The trio brings together Maria João’s distinctive voice, André Mehmari’s piano and Carlos Bica’s double bass for a jazz concert that combines original compositions with new interpretations of some emblematic standards. The line-up brings together three distinct paths in improvised and creative music, in a performance supported by DGARTES/RTCP.
