Synopsis

About to leave Brazil to restart her life in Portugal, Ana Catarina, a literature teacher, gets rid of almost all her books. Only five copies remain, each marked by dedications from people who were part of her story. Unable to abandon them, she decides to deliver them personally to their former owners.

Each reunion becomes a journey through memory, awakening affections, wounds and long-held silences. Between the past and the future, Ana confronts the choices that shaped her life and discovers that, in order to move forward, it is necessary to revisit what seemed definitively settled. A sensitive reflection on letting go, memory and the possibility of starting over.

The film is screened in the presence of actress Denise Fraga, the director and the producer. The film was shot partly in Aveiro and Costa Nova.
