Books to Eat_2026 (Escola Nova)

At each meeting, a book is introduced by the writer Afonso Cruz, creating the necessary framework for approaching its literary universe. That book is then read by the participants between sessions, allowing the culinary experience to emerge from an already established relationship with the work. From there, the kitchen becomes a space for artistic translation: the aim is not to illustrate narratives or reproduce literal recipes, but to cook the atmosphere of the book, extending the experience of reading to the body, to shared time, and to the table.
