Laboratories

Laboratórios presents the work developed throughout the 2025/2026 school year by artists in residence at schools in the municipality, in partnership with Moagem – Cidade do Engenho e das Artes, Agrupamento de Escolas do Fundão and Agrupamento de Escolas Gardunha e Xisto.

The exhibition brings together processes and results from workshops held from the 1st cycle through secondary education, including, for the first time, several 1st-cycle schools in the municipality’s villages. Dance, drawing, theatre, illustration, sculpture and music come together in a show that highlights the experiences shared in classrooms, outdoors and at Armazém 9.

Production by Moagem. Participating as artists in residence at the schools are Catarina Custódio Silva, Catarina Lopes Vicente, Daniel Fernandes, Fernando Aranda, Marta Nunes, Pollyanna Freire, Samuel Querido, Thaís de Melo and Verónica Calheiros.
