La Fille mal gardée

*La Fille mal gardée* is a rural comic ballet that follows Lise, a young peasant girl in love with Colas, and the opposition of her mother, the widow Simone, who tries to marry her daughter to Alain, the son of a rich landowner. Between attempts to keep them apart, secret meetings and amusing situations, the story leads the couple to the triumph of true love.

Under the direction of Conservatório Ballet e Dança Annarella Sanchez, the work combines a country spirit, folk dance and a light, tender tone, and is presented for ages 6 and up.
