about the event

Blind Justice proposes a scenic reflection on the complexity of justice, looking at it from a female and feminist perspective. The performance addresses silence as a possible form of self-defense and silencing as an imposition on those who try to defend themselves, shifting the focus to the audience and to the difficulty of being truly heard.

The creation starts from the tragedy *Medeia*, the myth of *La Llorona* and the figure of a contemporary filicide, bringing these materials together to open up an exercise in discussion and imagination about other ways of thinking about justice. The presentation includes Portuguese Sign Language and Audio Description, reinforcing the accessibility of the performance.
