Children’s 3CLIPSE

3CLIPSE premieres at the Hemispherium with an immersive film that takes as its starting point the solar eclipse of 12 August 2026. The narrative follows a grandmother and her granddaughter on a visit to a planetarium, where they are guided through the astronomical phenomena that explain how and why eclipses happen. Through projections, animation and original music, the work combines scientific explanation with the cultural and historical impact of this phenomenon, preparing audiences for the solar eclipses of 2026, 2027 and 2028 in the Iberian Peninsula. It is a production of the Elder Museum of Science and Technology, in Las Palmas.
