Images of Coimbra in the time of Camilo Pessanha

The Municipal Library of Coimbra joins the commemorations of the centenary of Camilo Pessanha's death with this exhibition at the Pinho Dinis Gallery. The show brings together dozens of photographs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, focused on the spaces, settings and figures of Coimbra in the poet's time.

In parallel, the foyer of the Casa Municipal da Cultura hosts a bibliographic display dedicated to Camilo Pessanha, with items from the holdings of the Municipal Library of Coimbra. The exhibition is curated by Alexandre Ramires and admission is free.
