Stories of Vale Bom

In *Stories of Vale Bom*, José Luís Guerin observes Vallbona, a peripheral neighborhood of Barcelona separated by infrastructure, where rural ways of life persist at the same time as urban dynamics advance. The film follows a microcosm inhabited by migrants from different periods and intertwines neighborhood relationships, conflict, and survival with a strong community dimension.

The work seeks a polyphonic and humanistic portrait of this territory, paying attention to everyday life, social, generational, identity, and ecological tensions, and to the way collective experience is built between continuity and change.
