HEQET

Heqet, by Companhia Absurda, proposes a stage reflection on the relationship between humanity and the environment, drawing inspiration from the goddess Heqet and the ten plagues of Egypt. On stage, the “servants of Heqet”, born from the plague of frogs, transform into a kind of mafia dedicated to healing the Earth, in a parallel universe marked by floods, fires, and other extreme climate changes. The play combines imagination and environmental warning to reach audiences of different ages.
