HELVIOFOX

Carlos Afonso, known artistically as Helviofox, stands out as one of the emerging names in electronic music in Lisbon. Originally from Quinta do Mocho, in Loures, and the son of Angolan parents, he is part of the TLS collective and works from the Lisbon beat, a genre born in the capital's suburbs that blends African rhythms such as *kuduro*, *kizomba* and tarraxinha with *house* and *techno*. At MEO KALORAMA, his presence reinforces this peripheral and singular sonic identity.
