Funky Remedy Five

At Escadas do Quebra Costas, the Funky Remedy Five collective presents a free-admission concert that blends jazz and funk, with an approach marked by energy and the reinterpretation of great classics. The group brings together five musicians from the Coimbra region and offers a show in which influences from rock and hip-hop are also felt.

The quintet is made up of André Duarte on keyboards, João Toscano on electric bass, Paulo Silva on drums, Guilherme Fradinho on saxophone and Nuno Rodrigues on trumpet. The performance is part of the "A Dois Tempos" programme and is repeated the following day, at the same time and place.
