Folk Azores – 40th International Folklore Festival of the Azores

Terceira Island hosts the 40th edition of Folk Azores – International Folklore Festival of the Azores, from 9 to 16 August 2026. The festival brings together national and international folk groups in a gathering dedicated to music, dance, and popular traditions, promoting the sharing between different cultures and the appreciation of participants’ intangible heritage. Admission is free.
