Emerge Festival

The Festival Emerge takes over Póvoa Arena for three days, bringing together music, entertainment and food offerings outside the venue. The proposal is linked to the celebrations of International Youth Day and combines Póvoa de Varzim’s connection to the sea with an idea of emerging culture for the city’s summer.

The opening is marked by the Arraial Poveiro theme, with performances by DJ Rui Azevedo and Grupo Amigos de Sobreposta in the outdoor area. On the second day, the entertainment continues with DJ Helder Dias Sax + Percussão and DJ Caseira, before the ÁTOA concert inside Póvoa Arena, in a day integrated into the youth celebrations.

The closing is dedicated to a Remember 80’s / 90’s Party, with DJ Digo Varela, DJ Miguel Antunes (Vinil Flashback) and DJ Pantaleão / The Fox (+ VJ/Led Wall). At the same time, the outdoor area serves as a food court and entertainment space, with several gastronomic options throughout the festival.
