Guia Festivities in Honor of Nossa Senhora da Guia and St. Louis

Guia once again celebrates its traditional festivities with a programme that brings together devotion, music and local flavours. At the Polidesportivo da Guia, from 7:00 pm, the public will find snack stalls, sweets and traditional food, in an atmosphere enlivened by the concerts scheduled for the two days of the festival. On the 29th, Emanuel & Tânia and Bonga perform, and the evening also includes the Mass and the Candlelight Procession, at 8:30 pm, at the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Guia. On the 30th, Humberto Silva and Ruth Marlene take to the programme, on a day that begins with the religious component, with Mass and the Solemn Procession at 6:00 pm, departing from the Igreja Matriz and with the sermon on returning to the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Guia. The festivities end with a fireworks display.
