about the event
Lisbon is one of the central points of an event marking European Music Day in several cities across Europe, with a focus on the great piano works in the history of music. The ARTE/ZDF channel brings together eight countries and ten orchestras in a broadcast that moves through different cities and settles in Belém to follow, live and simultaneously with RTP2, the Orquestra Gulbenkian performance. The musical direction is by Hannu Lintu and the soloist participation is by pianist Bruce Liu.
