Casa da Escrita welcomes Augusto Baptista on the coming 3 de setembro, in a session dedicated to his literary and artistic work. With the theme “Entre Riscos e Palavras – um autor”. Viagem de Júlio Roldão pelas escritas de Augusto Baptista”, the event begins at 18:30 and includes the presentation of two books and the opening of an exhibition of drawings, which will be on display in this municipal space until 26 de setembro.

Through a journey led by journalist Júlio Roldão, the public is invited to discover different dimensions of Augusto Baptista’s work, an author who brings together various languages and disciplines, including text, photography and drawing.

The event includes the presentation of the books “O Encantador de Sereias” and “ENIgMATÓgRAFO”, both written by Augusto Baptista, followed by the opening of the exhibition “Garrafas”. The exhibition, comprising 16 drawings selected from the eponymous publication, published by Gatopardo in 2013, can be visited at Casa da Escrita until 26 de setembro.

The session ends with a tasting of sparkling wine from Adega Cooperativa de Souselas.
