EFTERKLANG
about the event
Efterklang return to Portugal in December for a series of concerts that passes through Covilhã and marks the presentation of *Things We Have In Common* (2024), the new album by the Danish trio. At the Teatro Municipal da Covilhã, the band weaves together its universe of indie, post-rock, electronics and references to contemporary classical music, in a return that also marks a new creative moment.
Formed by Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg, Efterklang have more than two decades of history since *Tripper* (2004). Their most recent record closes the trilogy begun with *Altid Sammen* (2019) and continued with *Windflowers* (2021), and includes collaborations with Zach Condon, Mabe Fratti and the Girls' Choir of Southern Denmark, as well as mixing by Francesco Donadello. On stage, they will also be joined by Tatu Rönkkö on drums, for a performance that brings together new compositions and standout songs from the band's repertoire.
