DJ Andy Smith (ex-Portishead)

Andy Smith, known for having been the DJ for Portishead on their international tours, presents a musical journey marked by careful selection and by the crossing of hip hop, funk, reggae, soul, and electronic music. He was also the first DJ to release, on a major label, a multi-genre compilation album with *The Document*, in 1998, a work that gained the status of a generational soundtrack.

In the Reach Up – Disco Wonderland project, he recaptures the energy of legendary New York clubs such as Paradise Garage and Studio 54, for a journey through disco, boogie, and proto house, in a celebration of dance music led by one of its most experienced voices.
