Dance in the Castle

During the month of July, Leiria Castle hosts Dance in the Castle, an initiative that brings together classical and contemporary dance in spaces such as the Church of Santa Maria da Pena and the Castle Palace. The project gathers dozens of international students every week and includes highlight moments such as the Gala at the Castle and the Medieval Festival. The organization is handled by the Leiria Classical Ballet Company and the Municipality of Leiria, with names such as António Casalinho, Margarida Fernandes and Núria Fernandes among the artists associated with the poster.
