Dance | Premiere Emerging Still | FRANCISCO CAMACHO and KOTOMI NISHIWAKI

In *Emerging Still*, Francisco Camacho and Kotomi Nishiwaki start from the idea that body and space form an inseparable reality in permanent mutation. The piece develops through gestures that spread, reorganize the whole, and create transient configurations where matter, movement, perception, and environment mutually affect one another.

With co-creation and performance by Francisco Rolo, music and sound design by Miquel Casaponsa, and lighting design, set design, and technical direction by Frank Laubenheimer, the performance rests on a tension between action and surface, while remaining dedicated to the memory of Abraham Hurtado (1972-2024).
