CriaJazz - Raúl Rodríguez

Raúl Rodríguez presents Tres de la frontera, a concert that starts from flamenco to build a language of its own, made of crossings between tradition and creation. An Andalusian musician and anthropologist, he traces Iberian, American, African and Mediterranean influences in a proposal that turns the stage into a sonic and intercultural journey.

Armed with his hybrid instrument, the Tres Flamenco, and with percussion and effects used in *looping*, Rodríguez creates sound layers in real time and leads the audience into a collective trance. The performance highlights the border as a space of friction and the birth of new styles, in a work where music and anthropological reflection move side by side.
