Chão de Meninos

"Chão de Meninos" is a dance and music performance for children and families in which children take the floor as a place for play, imagination and invention. Among animals, snow, flowers and live music, the piece builds a delicate and participatory universe, designed to involve both children and adults.

The creation was born from the wish of a grandmother who wanted to show her grandchildren her work as a choreographer. That impulse led to a collaborative process that brought together musicians, performers, a set designer and two child co-creators, shaping a piece built from that shared experience.
