Carta ao Corpo Que Luta

Inspired by *Novas Cartas Portuguesas* (1972), by Maria Isabel Barreno, Maria Teresa Horta and Maria Velho da Costa, this show by São Castro blends dance, text and music to revisit questions of freedom, equality and emancipation. On stage, a woman writes to the fighting body — her own and that of all women — in an intimate dialogue where memory, denunciation and resistance intersect.
