about the event

This compendium of Latin American music was born far from Chile, where its founding members come from. It was in Munich, in 2013, that the journey began. Homesickness intensified the love for the sounds of their native hemisphere. In Calle Mambo, you can hear a dozen Latin American instruments: charango, tiple, quena, zampoña, ronroco, toyos, cuatro… They appear mixed with electronics, urban sounds, and popular rhythms such as huayno, timba, caporal, and cumbia. Electro-urban folklore and social commitment. Powerful dance music used in the struggle against oppression and the destruction of ecosystems. "Retumba la Tierra", their 2025 album, charts the route.
