Bands at the Bandstand 2026

The Bandas ao Coreto 2026 brings together several performances by philharmonic bands in the Jardim Municipal, throughout the summer. The cycle runs on different dates between July and September, with concerts by ensembles from various towns and late-afternoon schedules, creating a continuous programme of philharmonic music in an open-air setting.

Among the highlights are the Sociedade Musical Recreativa de Alqueidão and the Associação Musical União Filarmónica Maioquense in July, followed by performances by the Sociedade Artística Musical Carvalhense, the Sociedade Filarmónica Paionense, the Sociedade Instrução e Recreio de Lares, the Sociedade Filarmónica Figueirense, the Sociedade Filarmónica Santanense, the Sociedade Boa União Alhadense and the Sociedade Filarmónica Quiaense. The result is a summer musical itinerary centred on bands, with dates spread across two months.
