The Birds of the Salt Pans

This activity invites participants to discover the birds that inhabit the salt pans, with direct observation of some species through binoculars and a telescope. Throughout the session, participants are made aware of the biodiversity of the Aveiro estuary and of the connection between scientific knowledge and contact with nature.

The initiative is part of the Oficinas com Vida programme and takes place at CMIA - Centro Municipal de Interpretação Ambiental, in Aveiro, with participation limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 20 people. Admission is free, but mandatory registration by email is required.
