Summer Entertainment at Praia da Tocha - Theatre Play “Engarrafamento a caminho do cemitério”

The Largo da Fonte, in Praia da Tocha, hosts the play Engarrafamento a Caminho do Cemitério, by Jean-Pierre Martinez, presented by the Grupo de Teatro Amador da Tocha as part of the Summer Entertainment of the Municipality of Cantanhede. The story revolves around an overcrowded cemetery and an unexpected solution proposed by the mayor, in an absurd and contemporary comedic register.

The show is directed by Maria Cardoso, with artistic direction by Paula Bronze, and features a large cast including Manuel Andrade, Jorge Salvador, Natália Costa, Isabel Freitas, Paula Bronze, Marisa Cardoso, Mário Cação, Júlio Pinto, Luísa Vinagreiro, Célia Almeida and Lígia Pacheco. Sound design is by Luís Palaio. Admission is free and the session is for audiences aged 14 and over.
