*When I Saw the Sea* opens a window onto stories of exploitation, resistance and exile, with a focus on the nightmares of the Kafala system. On stage, three women give voice to the experiences of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon, in a performance in which the bodies sing a ballad made of fire, love and justice.
The presentation is part of a co-production with Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, within the framework of Alkantara.
